This is a very compact and easy to use high efficiency PWM speed controller for any brushed motor with additional serial communication for your developement or project. You can use it with siple potentiometer or for more adjustable functions controll with simple USART read/write commands using Arduino/PLC/computer or any other MCU. Use it for heavy duty starters, trolley, outboard, go-cart, boat and any other industrial application where you want to archive high efficiency with low heat loss.

Please note this is a low frequency drive system. It means the working frequency 500Hz which generates beeping noise in the motor. It is normal but it may be disturbing in some application. But it is perfect for tasks where a small noise acceptable. We also have 20kHz controllers with noiseless operation for those please check our store. Built in 16PCS ultra low resistance powerfull MOSFETs. 300A/200A load depending on the temperature additional fan cooling may needed over 120-150A. Normal current limit protection is adjustable between 0-200A many people dont know but this is very important for the motor controllers a with other controllers you can see there are no adjustable current limit and a fuse is too slow to protect the controller if a peak load or switching a direction occurs. When you start the motor the starting surrent can be 2-5x as the nominal current. When you change direction the current can be 10-15x larger than the normal current.

This controller can limit this fast changes. Trust me and always choose a controller which has current limit protection!

Connection with high current M6 screws you can use strong high current ring terminals as a professional high current connection. Thick copper bus bars for heavy current loads. Adjustable switching frequency (100-500Hz) Default: 500Hz. 4 programable controlling modes with the red switch: potentiometer, hall throttle, PWM, RC receiver, + all above serial communication. Adjustable 0-20sec acceleration limit it is very useful for gokarts and other kind of electric vechiles if you want to limit the acceleration.

Universal supply voltage between 6-35V DC. Dimensions: 130 x 90 x 30 mm / 3,2"x 3,2" x 1,2. Note: For the maximumyou may have to use fan cooling. The controller has a fan controlling output which accepts 12V or 24V fans. Same as 300/200A but double output power. Specifications 40V 300A reversible version. Same as 300/200A but double output with H bridge reversible output. You can choose between 4 operation modes with the red DIP switch on the PCB board. Magnetic hall throttle mode (0.5-4,5V input) or programable input voltage like 1-3V or anything you want.

Joystick mode (middle position zero speed turn left or right drives forward or backward). Simple PWM signal (0-95%) from arduino or a RC receiver. RC receiver PWM input 1,5ms +/-1ms.

You can choose between 2 serial communication modes with the red DIP switch on the PCB board. All controllers has a djustable and saveable parameters with serial communication read/write commands with simple arduino mode or advanced mode. These are the available registers. Turn ON/OFF minimum and turn ON/OFF maximum voltage levels for example turn off the unit at low battery voltage.

Potentiometer input voltage (you can use this input for an analoge measurement input if you are controlling the speed with RS232/485 commands). Input frequency on PWM input.

Input duty on PWM input. I x R compensation (this if for speed regulation compensation the load drop voltage).

Supply compensation (maximum speed limit) this can be very usefull in more cases. As you give a maximum reference voltage (maximum RPM) what the output can be with the maximum gas setting. This value becomes a reference voltage and archive perfect supply voltage compensation.

This means if your supply voltage drops of raise your motor PRM remains the same. Using the supply compensation and the I x R compensation together you can archive perfect speed regulation without any closed loop feedback and no tachogenerator is needed.
